some administrative updates
(1) We’ve just added about 80 pictures to our photo gallery, creating a separate section for “charts and graphs. Please enjoy reading them, or feel free to download them for your own presentations.
(2) Regarding what we post, there are a lot of areas and groups which have been impacted by ALEC model legislation. Many of the stories we have been posting are about such topics. We hope to explain to workers in various industries just how they have been manipulated and what the results are.
(3)The 2012 elections are coming up soon. While we will not be posting about many facets of the election, we will try to point out ALEC and Koch involvement with the candidates and with other legislators.
(4) On the right sidebar you will see some new links to our favorite sites. Action NC is a Charlotte, NC based organization whose priorities include: better housing conditions for tenants, living wages for low-wage workers, affordable health care, more investment in our communities from banks and governments, comprehensive immigration reform, and better public schools. In other words, they are working with those who have been screwed one way or another by ALEC Legislation.
BecauseICan is a site that many of you have found on your own. It features the musing of 2old2care, one of our favorite writers, and a long-time researcher of ALEC and the Cabal.
Then we have a link to take you to Bob Sloan’s diaries in the Daily Kos. Bob has been posting there for a long time, and you can now easily access all of his posting about ALEC, prison privatization, and prison labor.
Thank you very much for coming to our site. We appreciate your patronage. Feel free to comment on any of our posts, and if you have any questions or suggestions or links you want to share with us, please address them to us at info@vltp.net
